[09-07-2022] Santa Clara, County, CA – An Unidentified Male Rider Died After a Fatal Motorcycle Crash in San Jose

A male dirt bike rider was killed after a motorcycle crash involving a vehicle in San Jose on Wednesday afternoon, September 7, 2022.

According to the local authorities, the accident transpired at around 2 p.m. at Santa Teresa Boulevard and Lean Avenue.

The dirt bike rider was speeding west on Santa Teresa Boulevard when he ran a red light at the intersection, colliding with a 2018 Tesla sedan traveling south, according to police.

The name of the dirt bike rider who died at the scene has not yet been disclosed by the Santa Clara County medical examiner’s office.

According to police, the Tesla driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries and cooperated with the investigation.
