According to the Santa Rosa Police, a 23-year-old motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries and was in critical condition at a local hospital near Rincon Ridge Park Tuesday, September 7, 2022.
The crash occurred at 8:54 p.m. at the intersection of Fountaingrove Parkway and Sedgemoor Drive near Rincon Ridge Park in the city’s north end.
The officers found the injured motorcyclist when they arrived at the scene but did not find his motorcycle.
They concluded that the collision occurred east of the intersection when the truck traveling westbound on Fountaingrove Parkway rear-ended the motorcycle.
An injured motorcyclist was dragged for two miles after being involved in a hit-and-run accident that resulted in the arrest of a 37-year-old man from Santa Rosa.
The investigators are still trying to determine what caused the crash.
