[09-08-2022] One Person Killed in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on Childs AvenueAuthorities claim that one person died in a two-vehicle collision in Merced on Thursday, September 8, 2022.

The crash occurred around 6:00 a.m. at Childs Avenue and Kibby Road.

According to Merced Police Lt. Dan Dabney, officers were called to a collision involving a PG&E truck and another vehicle.

The identity of the victim has yet to be disclosed

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
