[09-09-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – One Injured in a Big Rig Crash on the 118 Freeway

At least one person was injured following a big-rig crash on the 118 Freeway on Friday morning, September 9, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the accident happened around 10:10 a.m. after a big rig crashed into the right side wall.

Following that, the truck crashed into another big rig, causing the motorway to be blocked.

According to responding medical staff, one victim suffered head injuries. However, no more information regarding their present condition or identity has been revealed by Chatsworth officials.

Authorities eventually declared a SigAlert in the two motorway lanes for approximately an hour as personnel cleared the scene.

The investigation is still ongoing.
