[09-16-2021] Sacramento County, CA – One Person Killed in a Deadly Road Rage Shooting on Orange Grove Avenue

One unidentified man was killed after getting shot in a suspected road rage incident on Thursday morning, September 16, 2021.

[09-16-2021] Sacramento County, CA - One Person Killed in a Deadly Road Rage Shooting on Orange Grove AvenueThe incident transpired at approximately 8:50 a.m. at the intersection of Orange Grove Avenue and Auburn Boulevard.

A shooting was reported near the intersection. Deputies later arrived at the scene and found the 46-year-old victim next to his vehicle on the roadway.

Emergency personnel immediately gave the man first aid before the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District arrived and transported the man to an area hospital.

Unfortunately, the 46-year-old man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. Reports later revealed that the victim drove his car into another vehicle.

The 46-year-old man then exited his vehicle and approached the other vehicle. The 24-year-old driver of the other vehicle then opened fire.

The other driver then called local authorities the next day. He was identified as 37-year-old Theotis Leshun T.

Local authorities are further investigating the case. Witnesses are encouraged to call Sheriff’s Office at 916-874-5115 for any additional information on the incident.
