[09-18-2022] Orange County, CA – One Person Killed in Fatal DUI Hit-and-Run Crash in Santa Ana

A pedestrian was killed after getting fatally struck by a 55-year-old man while driving drunk and fleeing the scene at a bus stop in Santa Ana on Sunday, September 18, 2022.

The crash occurred just before 5:00 p.m. at a bus stop close to 1500 S. Fairview St.

The police were called to a bus stop where a hit-and-run driver had injured the victim.

The injured man was taken to a hospital, where he was later declared dead, according to the police.
