[09-19-2022] Multi-Vehicle Collision Leaves Two People Suffering From Minor Injuries on I-80Two people suffered minor injuries after a seven-car collision on I-80 on Monday morning, September 19, 2022.

The accident happened around 7:41 a.m. on westbound Interstate 80 close to the Cherry Glen Road exit.

According to a California Highway Patrol spokesman for the Solano Office, both people were taken by ambulance to nearby hospitals.

Two other cars were struck by a fast-moving vehicle that swerved to avoid hitting the back of snarling traffic.

According to the CHP spokesman, four additional vehicles were then gathered up by those cars in the two fast lanes.

More than 90 minutes passed while the two fast lanes were closed.
