[09-19-2022] Male Died After a Fatal Bicycle Crash in OxnardAccording to the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office, the bicyclist that was fatally injured last September 19,2022 has been identified as Oxnard resident Luis Marquez Juarez and was a 22-year-old.

According to the Oxnard Police Department, the collision occurred around 7:40 p.m. on Saviers Road where it meets Glacier Avenue.

A 2005 Ford F-150 pickup hit Juarez as he crossed Saviers going west toward Glacier. He was taken to a hospital by ambulance, but he died there from his injuries.

The pickup’s driver, a 35-year-old man from Oxnard, stayed at the scene and helped the police, police officials said.

Local authorities reported at around 7:40 p.m. that the accident happened on Saviera Road in the direction of Glacier Avenue in Oxnard.

According to reports, the man was operating a 2005 Ford F-150.

The police department reports that on Monday night, it struck the biker who was seen crossing from Saviers Road to Glacier Avenue in the west.

They transported the rider to a hospital after being seriously hurt, but he soon passed away from his wounds.

The Ford truck’s driver stayed at the collision scene and assisted the authorities.
