According to officials, two persons were sent to a local hospital after being involved in a three-vehicle crash in Canyon Country on Wednesday morning, September 21, 2022.
According to Ruben Muñoz, the Fire Department’s public information officer, the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to a traffic accident at 10:44 a.m. between Whites Canyon Road and Soledad Canyon Road.
He added that firefighters arrived at the accident scene at 10:50 a.m. and verified that a sheriff’s deputy was involved in the crash.
Two persons were injured and were taken to a local hospital. The extent of the injuries remained unknown.
According to Sgt. Dimitry Barkon of the Sheriff’s Station, the deputy engaged in the traffic collision was a school resource officer (SRO) responding to another cop-related incident at Golden Valley High School.
Barkon stated that the SRO had “minimal, superficial injuries” due to the car crash.
The case is to be further investigated.
Multi-Vehicle Crash Statistics
A multi-vehicle accident is typically defined as an accident involving three or more vehicles. These accidents can be extremely chaotic and often result in serious injuries or even fatalities. Statistics show that multi-vehicle accidents are more likely to result in death than single-vehicle accidents.
Multi-vehicle accidents are, unfortunately, becoming more and more common. The risk of accidents also increases with the number of cars on the road. 38,824 people were killed in motor vehicle traffic accidents on US highways in 2020. This is the highest number of deaths since 2007. It also represents a 6.8 percent increase from the 36,355 fatalities recorded in 2019 or 2,469 more people killed in traffic accidents in 2020.
One of the main reasons for this is that there are more opportunities for collisions when multiple vehicles are involved. Another factor is that multi-vehicle accidents often involve high speeds, which can lead to catastrophic results. If you are in the middle of a multi-vehicle accident, it is important to stay calm and call 911 as soon as possible. Taking quick and decisive action can help ensure that everyone involved gets the medical attention they need.
Los Angeles County Multi-Vehicle Crash Lawyers
Multiple-vehicle accidents are prevalent in the United States, as is the fact that many of these unfortunate situations result in at least one fatality. Anyone in one of these accidents should contact a lawyer to seek compensation for medical bills, emotional discomfort, mental anguish, and economic loss.
The number of people involved, insurance claims, and legal documentation are all factors that complicate matters. As a result, attempting to resolve this disaster on your own is quite difficult. If you are involved in an accident, you must obtain skilled legal counsel to protect your rights and, if possible, demand financial compensation for the incident.
