An 81-year-old pedestrian died after being hit by a car near a Moreno Valley crossroads on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, the accident occurred at about 12:50 a.m. on Perris Boulevard, north of Bay Avenue.
According to the authorities, Revoir was on the road when a 2014 Kia Optima hit him. The motorist came to a complete stop and waited for the police.
County fire paramedics arrived immediately at the accident scene and performed life-saving efforts on the victim, but he was declared dead on the spot.
According to sheriff’s authorities, the motorist was not injured and was detained for questioning before being released.
It wasn’t clear why Revoir was strolling down the four-lane highway.
The circumstances of the crash are under investigation.
