[09-21-2022] San Diego County, CA – Pedestrian Crash Leaves One Person Severely Injured in Golden Hill

One person was severely injured after a pedestrian crash crossing state SR-94 in the Golden Hill area on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.

The mishap happened around 11:15 a.m. The California Highway Patrol reported it was on the westbound side of the highway, east of 25th Street.

According to the paramedics, they transported the victim to a hospital. They identified him as a man.

The Ford sedan’s 73-year-old Bonita driver, who struck the pedestrian, escaped harm.

According to CHP, public-affairs officer Jesse Matias did not think intoxication contributed to the collision.
