[09-21-2022] San Mateo County, CA - Cyclist Killed in a Hit-and-Run on Culebra RoadA man in his 40s was struck and killed by a vehicle on Culebra Road on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.

The accident happened shortly before 10 p.m. at Block 9100.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, the unknown car was heading south on the street when it hit the man cycling on the road.

The San Antonio Fire Department and emergency units arrived on the scene and pronounced the victim dead. Police have not released the man’s identity because they are waiting to contact his family.

According to police, the motorist faces accusations of failing to stop and reckless driving.

San Antonio police were still investigating the crash, and no arrests have been made.
