[09-21-2022] Tuolumne County, CA – Traffic Collision Between Motorcycle and Sedan Slows Traffic in East Sonora

An accident involving a motorcycle and a sedan slowed traffic during the evening commute in East Sonora on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.

The collision took place on Wednesday evening at the intersection of Cordelia Avenue and Hess Avenue, south of the Highway 108 Bypass.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle and a Chevy sedan collided, blocking a portion of the road.

A motorcycle rider needed an air ambulance, and another person needed a ground crew, so two ambulances were dispatched to the scene.

The CHP has not communicated their circumstances. Commuters may want to find an alternative route as officers are directing the area’s slow-moving traffic.

Local authorities are still investigating the crash.
