[09-22-2022] Butte County, CA - Bicycle Accident Leaves a 18-Year-old Boy Suffered Major Injuries in ChicoAccording to the CHP, a cyclist was hit by a car in Chico on Thursday morning, September 22, 2022.

According to the CHP, the accident happened around 7:30 a.m. on northbound Highway 99.

Kaden D., 18, was pedaling a bike on the sidewalk. The CHP reported turning left onto Skyway as he approached the crosswalk and hit Dean’s Toyota.

DeGeorge has knocked off the bike and was treated for moderate injuries at Enloe Medical Center. He wasn’t wearing a helmet, according to the CHP.

Dean wasn’t hurt, and the CHP doesn’t think alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
