A woman and her 7-year-old son were hit by a car crossing in North Berkeley on Friday morning, September 23, 2022.
The crash transpired around 8:30 a.m. on Cedar at California Street, near Luther King Jr. They were utilizing the east side of the intersection’s crosswalk.
Before the collision, the driver was traveling east on Cedar Street when they stopped at California Street. According to police spokesperson Officer Byron White.
