One passenger died, and two others suffered severe injuries after a fatal vehicle crash on Highway 115 on Friday, September 23, 2022.
According to the CHP, the accident transpired around 1:30 p.m. The car entered the highway, causing the second car to swerve and roll, killing one of the passengers.
The Ford F-550 driver made a left turn onto Keystone Road, causing Joselyn S., 18, of Buckeye, Arizona, to lose control of her black 2015 Dodge Challenger due to the turn, sending her off the road to the right.
The accident caused the Dodge to roll multiple times, which killed a male passenger, age 22, and also from Buckeye. The driver and another male passenger, Buckeye resident Dalton Carter, 22, sustained severe wounds.
Carter was transported to Pioneer’s Memorial Hospital, while Sloan was flown by air ambulance to Desert Memorial Hospital.
According to the CHP, even though all passengers were using seat belts, the crash is still under investigation.
