The crash occurred at about 6:20 a.m. in the Sacramento County neighborhood of Old Foothill Farms.

According to California Highway Patrol officials, a woman in her 30’s was struck by an unidentified passing vehicle as she crossed from a gas station to a McDonald’s restaurant near Auburn Boulevard and Madison Avenue.

When the police arrived, the woman was walking, and according to CHP officials, she had only minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
