[09-23-2022] San Diego County, CA – One Person Dead in Two-Vehicle Crash in Rancho San Diego

According to the California Highway Patrol, at least one person died in a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on west state Route 94 Friday, September 23, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at about 6:10 p.m. on west state Route 94 in Rancho San Diego near Via Mercado.

According to a log kept by the CHP of the incident, a witness stated that the collision involved a motorcycle in addition to a vehicle.

The number of people injured, the identities of those injured, and the severity of their wounds were not immediately made public.

The investigators are still trying to determine what caused the collision.

There was no new information that could be obtained right away.
