[09-24-2022] San Diego County, CA – Rollover Crash Injured One Motorist in Spring Valley

A man suffered injuries after his small SUV rolled over on the freeway in Spring Valley on Saturday, September 24, 2022.

The collision occurred shortly after 6 a.m. on northbound SR-125, just south of Highway 94.

According to witnesses, the male driver of a Honda CR-V changed lanes and did not give another driver any room as he moved over.

After colliding with the other vehicle, the Honda rolled onto its roof near the right shoulder.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the other vehicle’s driver lost control and spun out to the left shoulder, facing the wrong way.

The other car’s driver then ran across the freeway to assist the Honda driver in getting out of the wreckage.

The driver of the Honda was taken to the hospital.

The severity of his injuries is unknown.

The investigation is still ongoing.
