According to the California Highway Patrol, a fatal motorcycle collision took the life of a Turlock man near Jamestown on Saturday afternoon, September 24, 2022.
The collision between a vehicle and motorcycle occurred around 4:00 p.m. near West of Jamestown, at the intersection of Highways 108 and 120.
The CHP says that Ruben P., 59, was going east on a Harley Davidson at high speed while a Mercedes-Benz in front of him slowed down for a red light.
The CHP says that Prusso kept going at an unsafe speed and tried to go around the Mercedes, but he crashed into the back of it.
Prusso was thrown from the bike and died at the scene from his injuries. A helmet was on his head.
The Mercedes was driven by a Thousand Oaks woman who was 55 years old and was not hurt.
