A pedestrian was killed, and a driver was injured following a collision in the Los Angeles neighborhood of El Sereno on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.
The collision was reported just before 1:50 p.m. in the area of 4927 S. Huntington Drive, near Ernest E. Debs Regional Park.
The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed until the next of kin were notified.
Although the car rolled over, the driver was able to get out on his own and was taken to the hospital in fair condition, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The collision remains under investigation.
