A patrol car was involved in a two-car collision that sent a pedestrian and a deputy to the hospital in Rosemead on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.
The crash occurred on Wednesday afternoon in the area of Valley Boulevard.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the patrol car was conducting a suspect search in the area of Valley Boulevard when the collision happened.
Although the events leading up to the collision are not yet known, the crash sent the deputy’s car careening into a structure.
A pedestrian and a deputy were both taken to nearby hospitals for medical attention.
The condition of the civilian is still unknown, while the deputy has already been discharged from care.
The deputies reported that they were awake and conscious while being transported to the hospital.
