[09-30-2022] Identified 56-Year-Old Man who Died After a DUI Crash in Allendale CanalA 56-year-old Fairfield resident was identified on Monday as Martin G.F. as the man who died after a suspected DUI crash in Allendale Canal on Thursday night, September 29, 2022.

The accident happened around 6 p.m. into a canal on Allendale Road near Heather Lane, north of Vacaville.

According to officials, the car was underwater, and the driver hadn’t come to the surface.

When Gutierrez’s body was found later, he was declared dead.

According to the CHP, alcohol played a part in the collision.
