San Mateo County Pedestrian Accident Lawyers

Whether or not a pedestrian is in a crosswalk does not alter the individual’s duty to the public. A pedestrian has the right of way at an intersection to the maximum extent permitted by law. It will be determined whether or not any laws were broken by the driver who struck the pedestrian.

Victims’ families can seek justice by filing a wrongful death lawsuit against those they believe should bear some responsibility for a loved one’s death. Damages can be awarded for intangibles like pain and suffering, as well as tangible ones like lost wages and the price of a funeral.
