[10-03-2022] Four People Injured in Two-Vehicle Rollover Collision on Interstate 5 Near MaxwellAccording to the Williams Area California Highway Patrol, a two-vehicle rollover crash injured four people on Interstate 5 near Maxwell on Monday, October 3, 2022.

According to the authorities, the two-vehicle collision occurred at approximately 5:25 p.m. on southbound Interstate 5 just south of Maxwell Road.

CHP officials say that Kathryn S., 24, of Martinez, was going very fast down the road when she crashed into Anthony D., 22, of Vacaville, who was driving a white Ford truck pulling a small utility trailer.

Danielson then lost control of the truck, which caused it to go off the road and flip over.

At the time of the accident, Jason D., 19, of Vacaville, and Sierra J., 20, also of Vacaville, were riding with Danielson.

When the truck flipped over, Jensen was thrown out of it and suffered serious injuries. She was taken to the Enloe Medical Center in Chico, California, for care.

Anthony D. and Jason D. were both hurt a little bit in the accident.

CHP officials said that Shubat, who also had minor injuries, stayed at the scene and was later arrested and charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, causing death or serious bodily injury.

Officials say that drugs or alcohol have played a role in this incident, but the crash is still being investigated.
