[10-03-2022] Humboldt County, CA – Two-Vehicle Collision Resulted in Major Injury in Eureka

According to the authorities, at least one person is severely injured in a two-vehicle collision in Eureka Thursday, November 3, 2022

The crash transpired around 1:00 p.m. on Broadway at the Harris Street intersection near Applebee’s Restaurant in Eureka.

Scanner data shows a significant accident involving one critically injured patient necessitating extrication.

Responding emergency personnels have made a request to close northbound lanes 1 and 2. They have asked the fire department to direct traffic onto Harris Street.

The police say a gray sedan and a white work truck were involved.

The accident’s root cause has yet to be determined.
