Multi-Vehicle Crash Statistics

The growing economy is a direct cause of the alarming rise in accidents across the state. In 2010, over 3,304 people died in car accidents, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

There are some risks when you drive in California. The drivers who got into these wrecks could have avoided them if they had been more careful. Over 94% of all accidents are caused by human actions that could have been avoided.

Car accident injuries can range from mild discomfort to excruciating pain. Because accidents happen so often, it’s easy for drivers to stop being aware of the dangers they face on the road.

When three or more cars are involved in an accident, it is called a “multi-vehicle accident.” When two cars crash head-on, there can be up to six other cars involved in the chaos.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said that more than 13,000 people died in accidents involving more than one car in 2010.

Solano County Car Accident Lawyers

Since there were only two cars involved, it was easy to charge both drivers. Having more than one vehicle makes it harder to find a solution that will work.

As time goes on, it gets harder to figure out who did it. If two cars had crashed into each other, it’s likely that people would have been hurt or killed.

Don’t trust your insurance company if you’re in an accident with more than one car and it’s not clear who was at fault. Insurance companies put their own benefits ahead of those of their policyholders when figuring out benefits.
