[10-06-2022] Two-Vehicle Collision Results in One Death Near Old Rooney Ranch RoadAccording to the California Highway Patrol, one person died in a two-vehicle collision on North Vasco Road early Thursday, October 6, 2022.

The crash transpired at about 3:40 a.m. on Vasco Road near Old Rooney Ranch Road.

Very few details about the fatal collision were immediately available, including whether or not anyone else had been injured. According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash involved two sedans.

The collision on North Vasco Road halted travel in both directions for quite some time. At 5:45 in the morning, according to the CHP, both lanes were again open.

The authorities did not immediately identify the person who had passed away because they were awaiting confirmation of their identity and notification of their next of kin.
