Multi-Vehicle Crash Statistics

The state’s growing economy is a direct cause of the rising number of car accidents. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says more than 3,304 people died in car accidents in 2010.

Driving in California is always a risky thing to do. If the drivers involved had been more careful, these wrecks could have been avoided. Over 94% of all accidents are caused by human actions that could have been avoided.

Depending on how bad the damage is, injuries from a car accident can be excruciating. Because accidents happen so often, it’s easy for drivers to get used to the daily risks on the road.

An accident with three or more cars is called a “multi-vehicle accident.” After a head-on collision, up to six vehicles may be stuck together.

A new report from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says that more than 13,000 people died in accidents involving more than one car in 2010.

Lassen County Car Accident Lawyers

In a case with only two cars, it’s easy to file charges against both drivers when more than one vehicle is involved, finding a solution that works can be challenging.

It gets harder to find the guilty person. If two or more cars had crashed, it could have hurt many people.

You shouldn’t trust an insurance company if you get into an accident with more than one car, and it’s unclear who was at fault. When giving out payouts, insurance companies put their own needs ahead of their policyholders.
