[10-09-2022] Passenger Dead in Single-Vehicle DUI Crash in HollisterAccording to the California High Patrol, an unidentified 30-year-old woman who was a passenger in a Tesla died after crashing into a concrete cylinder after the vehicle veered off the road in Hollister Sunday, October 9, 2022.

According to the California High Patrol, the deadly crash transpired at about 3:30 a.m. along State Road 25 south of Briggs Road.

The female Tesla passenger was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, while the driver was transported to Natividad Medical Center for treatment.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the driver, a man aged 34, has been located and detained on suspicion of operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

While this is happening, the victim who was found and brought to the medical examiner’s office has not yet been identified.

The investigation is still ongoing.
