[10-11-2022] Tree Trimmer Killed After Falling into Wood Chipper in Menlo ParkAccording to the Menlo Park Police Department, a tree trimmer was killed when he fell into a wood chipper in Menlo Park on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.

The incident occurred at 12:53 p.m. on the 900 block of Peggy Lane.

The police responded to a call and dispatched officers to the 900 block of Peggy Lane, where they discovered a dead man.

He had been trimming a tree when he reportedly fell into the wood chipper.

The Menlo Park Fire Protection District assisted on the scene.

The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health and the San Mateo County Coroner’s Office are conducting investigations on the scene.

The man’s identity had not been made public because the next of kin hadn’t been notified.

The 900 block of Peggy Lane is off-limits while the investigation is ongoing.

The area’s other blocks are still accessible by car.
