[10-11-2023] Santa Barbara County, CA – Three People Hospitalized After Single-Vehicle Crash in Lompoc

Three unidentified people were hospitalized following a single-vehicle collision in southwest Lompoc on Wednesday afternoon, October 11, 2023.

According to the Lompoc Fire Department, Santa Barbara County Fire Department, and American Medical Response, the crash occurred at approximately 2 p.m. at the Strauss Wind Energy Project site near San Miguelito and Sudden roads.

Reports indicate that the collision started when a utility-terrain vehicle overturned and landed on an adult male driver, who sustained serious injuries.

The injured driver was transported by a Calstar medical helicopter to Marian Regional Medical Center, while others were taken by private car. Other occupants’ conditions remain unknown.

Information regarding the identities of the individuals involved was not disclosed.
