[10-13-2022] One Person Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Crash in San JoseAn unidentified elderly woman was killed in a pedestrian accident in the city of San Jose on Thursday, October 13, 2022.

According to police, they received a call just before 7:30 p.m. to a residential neighborhood near Sajak and Lundy Avenue.

They claim that the pedestrian who was struck by the car was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver remained there to cooperate.

The circumstances leading up to the crash are still unknown.

This is the 53rd traffic fatality to occur in San Jose this year, and the 28th pedestrian death.

According to officials, this is the third vehicle collision involving a pedestrian in one day.

The collision remains under investigation.
