A juvenile was left with minor injuries after a hit-and-run incident near Orange Avenue and Yard Street in Oroville, Butte County, on Monday, October 14, 2024.

According to the Oroville Police Department, the incident occurred as the juvenile was crossing in a designated crosswalk from Orange Avenue to Washington Avenue when they were struck by an older grey Jeep Cherokee, which fled the scene down Washington Avenue.
