[10-15-2022] Monterey County, CA – One Person Killed in Deadly Train Versus Car Crash near San Ardo

According to the California Highway Patrol, at least one person is dead following a train versus a car crash near San Ardo on Saturday, October 15, 2022.

As per California Highway Patrol, the crash transpired Saturday afternoon along Cattlemen and Pine Valley Road.

The California Highway Patrol will only confirm that at least one person has been killed, and initial reports suggest that a train may have collided with a vehicle in the area.

There is currently no information available that can be used to identify either the vehicle or the victim.

The investigators are still trying to determine what caused the crash.
