A pedestrian woman was critically injured following a parking lot accident in Vallejo on Tuesday morning, October 15, 2024.
Police were called to the 900 block of Sereno Drive at 9:00 a.m. after receiving a report of an accident between a car and a pedestrian.
According to the Vallejo Police Department, the pedestrian, an adult woman, was found critically injured and taken to a nearby hospital.
Investigators reported that the woman was struck by a 2023 Nissan Kicks heading south in a parking lot. The driver was uninjured in the accident and stayed on the scene to assist with the investigation. Authorities said alcohol does not seem to have played a role in the accident.
Despite life-saving efforts, the woman succumbed to her injuries on Saturday, October 19, 2024. The investigation is ongoing.
