[10-21-2022] One Pedestrian Severely Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash in San JoseAccording to a tweet from the San Jose Police Department, a pedestrian who was hit and run over is in critical condition in San Jose on Friday night, October 21, 2022.

The collision occurred at 7:17 p.m. at the intersection of Snell Avenue and Blossom Hill Road.

The victim is a female, but the police did not disclose any additional information about her.

According to a follow-up tweet posted at 9:52 p.m. on Friday, her condition has stabilized.

According to police, the pedestrian was crossing the street outside of a clearly marked crosswalk.

There is no information available from the police regarding the suspect’s car. While SJPD conducts its investigation, traffic is impacted.
