According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, a motorcyclist and a car collided on Rainbow Canyon Road at around 12:00 p.m., prompting several hours of road closures.

The motorcyclist reportedly died at the scene, while no information was available about the other vehicle. The closure has since been lifted.
