[10-25-2022] Santa Clara County, CA – Hit-And-Run Collision Resulted in Two Pedestrian Suffering Injuries in San Jose

According to the authorities, a hit-and-run driver struck two pedestrians, a 68-year-old grandmother, and her 3-year-old granddaughter, in San Jose Tuesday evening, October 25, 2022.

The collision transpired at about 5:40 p.m. on Sierra Road and Mauna Kea Lane.

According to the police, the victims refused medical transport after suffering non-life-threatening injuries, but the grandmother was ultimately admitted to the hospital.

According to the police, the driver was going west on Sierra Road “at high speed” when they hit the woman pushing the stroller with the toddler inside.

The driver was captured on camera slamming into the woman, sending her and the child tumbling to the pavement.

Crime scene photos showed a dark gray four-door hatchback, matching police descriptions of a suspect vehicle. There could be trouble with the front driver’s side.
