[10-31-2023] Imperial County, CA – Female Pedestrian Injured Following Collision With Vehicle in El Centro

A female pedestrian was injured following a collision with a vehicle in El Centro on Tuesday morning, October 31, 2023.

Emergency responders were dispatched upon reports of the incident around 6:24 a.m. in the 200 block of North Imperial Avenue.

Emergency teams reported that the woman was found with major injuries and had lacerations to her head. She was immediately transported to El Centro Regional Medical Center to be treated.

Authorities did not indicate if the vehicle that struck the woman remained at the scene or fled, but they are looking into video surveillance from several nearby establishments.
