[11-03-2022] A 51-Year-Old Woman Died After a Fatal Pedestrian Crash with a Big Rig in OxnardAccording to Oxnard Police Department, a 51-year-old identified as Maria R. died after a pedestrian and semi-truck collision in Oxnard on Thursday, November 3, 2022.

The collision transpired around 2 a.m. on Camino Del Sol and Kinetic Drive. According to authorities, they discovered Robles lying unconscious on the road.

According to the department, first responders pronounced Robles dead at the scene.

The semi-truck that struck Robles was parked nearby, and witnesses pointed officers there.

According to investigators, the driver, a 31-year-old San Bernardino man, struck Robles as he crossed the intersection while turning westbound Camino Del Sol onto Kinetic Drive.

The semi-truck driver acknowledged being at fault and cooperated with the on-scene.
