The collision occurred in the afternoon downtown on Highway 50.

Authorities stated that Ivonne P. ran a red traffic signal at Spring Street and hit an uninvolved driver and a deputy’s patrol car.

It was reported that all parties sustained minor injuries due to the crash.

The suspect was also accused of driving under the influence, possessing a controlled substance, evading officers with reckless disregard for safety, and hit-and-run injury.

Further investigation of the crash is still ongoing.
