[11-04-2022] One Person Killed in Fatal Pedestrian Collision in HanfordThe Hanford Police Department reported a pedestrian was killed after getting hit by a vehicle in Hanford on Friday evening, November 4, 2022.

According to the local police of Hanford, the crash happened around 9:30 p.m. at E. Lacey Boulevard and 10th Avenue intersection.

The official reports stated that Benjamin F., 21-year-old, was traveling in the roadway when he allegedly hit 21-year-old Joshua K.

The medical personnel who responded to the crash declared Kinser dead on the spot after medical intervention.

The sedan involved in the collision and the suspect were initially not found by the police. Fernandez later surrendered the following morning along with the implicated car.

The suspect was taken to the Kings County jail for felony hit-and-run, resulting in death and involuntary manslaughter.

Further investigation is being conducted.
