A group of pedestrians were injured following a collision with a vehicle in Santa Clarita early Sunday morning, November 5, 2023.
The California Highway Patrol said the collision occurred around 1:45 a.m. outside the Black and Blue Restaurant in the Valencia Town Center.
A witness said that the female driver did two unsuccessful donut turnarounds, and the second one hit the pedestrians, causing them injuries and minor damage to the patio wall of the restaurant.
Six people with minor injuries were attended to by firefighters on the scene. It is unknown if any patients were admitted to the hospital.
Authorities confirmed that the suspect drove away following the collision. Two suspected women were apprehended by police on Magic Mountain Parkway for unknown charges.
Officials have not provided details of the collision. Anyone with information is encouraged to reach out.
