[11-06-2022] 69-Year-Old Man Struck and Killed by Train in Palisades DriveThe Orange County Sheriff’s Department stated that a 69-year-old man was killed after getting hit by a train at Palisades Drive on Sunday afternoon, November 6, 2022.

According to the sheriff’s office, the officers were called at 4:30 p.m. to a crash that closed the tracks between San Juan Capistrano and San Clemente.

The reports stated that train 860 struck an individual on the tracks. The man was declared dead on the spot.

The officers have not identified the person’s city of residence. It was only noted that the elderly man had no fixed address.

Further investigation into the collision is being conducted.
