[11-06-2023] San Joaquin County, CA – Pedestrian Killed Following Hit-And-Run Collision on Interstate 205 in Tracy

A pedestrian was killed after a hit-and-run collision in Tracy on Monday morning, November 6, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred shortly after 6:00 a.m. along the Tracy Boulevard off-ramp from westbound Interstate 205.

Authorities located the pedestrian on the left shoulder of the off-ramp and discovered that the victim had been struck by an unknown vehicle that had fled from the scene.

The suspect reportedly continued driving westbound on the boulevard off-ramp, but a description has not been released.

For most of the morning, the off-ramp was closed.  It has not yet been revealed what caused the fatal collision.
