[11-07-2022] Glenn County, CA - One Injured in Two-Vehicle Collision in WillowsCHP reported that one person got injured following a two-vehicle collision in Willows on Monday afternoon, November 07, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol Willows area, the crash occurred at 12:05 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 25 and County Road M.

33-year-old Elias S. of Orland was traveling west on Road 25 on a 2004 Saturn four-door at 45 mph. 36-year-old Ramirez Q. of Orland was traveling south on Road M on a 2007 Ford Expedition, north of the intersection with Road 25.

The Saturn, when approaching the stop sign, reportedly wasn’t able to break at the limit line and entered the intersection. The Expedition slammed into the Saturn’s right rear end.

The Expedition traveled to the right and flipped, coming to rest into a nearby orchard on the driver’s side. The Saturn stopped on the orchard’s right shoulder.

Quirarte suffered minor injuries from the crash, while Santiz was unharmed. Both were reportedly wearing their seatbelts during the collision.

Neither of the drivers was arrested upon investigation.
