[11-07-2022] Kern County, CA – 3-Year-Old Child Struck by Vehicle in Arvin

The Arvin Police Department reports a 3-year-old boy getting struck by a vehicle in Arvin on Monday afternoon, November 7, 2022.

According to the local police, the crash occurred before 3:00 p.m. near Arvin High School on Varsity Avenue.

Alex Ghazalpur, the acting Arvin Police Chief, said the child was immediately transported to Kern Medical for treatment. There is no available information on his current condition.

The driver who hit the child stopped and cooperated with the authorities.

The police are conducting further investigation.
