Three people were hurt after a car crash involving a motorhome in Susanville on Monday morning, November 8, 2021.

[11-08-2021] Lassen County, CA - Three People Injured After a Car Crashes into a Motorhome in SusanvilleAccording to the initial reports from local authorities, the crash happened at approximately 10:26 a.m on Highway 139 in Susanville.

A 35-year-old man was driving a 2000 Challenger Class A motor home on Highway 139 when, for unclear reasons, he lost control of his vehicle and descended the grade. It then clipped the left mirror of a 2014 Buick Encore.

Due to the severity of the impact, the motorhome veered off the roadway before hitting the embankment, where it partially overturned and disintegrated.

Both the driver of the motorhome and his 15-year-old passenger were ejected from their vehicle. They sustained serious injuries in the mishap. They were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

Drugs and alcohol were not considered as factors in the crash. The crash is currently under further investigation.
