[11-08-2022] Two-Vehicle Collision Sent One Crashing into SLO County Elections OfficeThe local police reported a two-vehicle collision, after which one crashed into a County Elections Office in San Luis Obispo on Tuesday night, November 8, 2022.

According to San Luis Obispo Police Department Lt. Jason Dickel, the crash occurred at about 11:00 p.m. at the corner of Monterey and Santa Rosa streets.

A Honda Civic and a Honda CRV slammed into each other. The collision sent the Civic crashing into a pillar of a building, stated Dickel.

Inside the SLO County Clerk-Recorder’s Office were election workers counting ballots. Luckily, no one inside the building got injuries from the crash.

The building got minor damages, while the cars were seriously damaged, although the authorities didn’t know the extent.

There was no available information regarding the drivers of the vehicles and their conditions.

The crash is being investigated by the authorities.
